Resources for Small Businesses During COVID-19

The Chattanooga Chamber and other local organizations launch a Small Business Assistance Hotline providing real-time advice, counsel and professional expertise to small businesses seeking financial, human resources, banking, credit and business assistance as a result of the economic impact of COVID-19.
The hotline will go live this Thursday, May 7 and may be reached Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 423.206.2565. After hours calls will be returned the next business day.
EPB generously supports our hotline services. Other partners include TSBDC, Co.Lab, LAUNCH Chattanooga, SCORE, Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Chattanooga, Compania / La Paz Chattanooga, Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga and Urban League of Greater Chattanooga.

La Cámara de Comercio de Chattanooga y otras organizaciones locales lanzan una Línea Directa de Asistencia para Pequeñas Empresas que brinda asesoría, consultoría y experiencia profesional en tiempo real a las pequeñas empresas que buscan asistencia financiera, de recursos humanos, bancaria, crediticia y comercial como resultado del impacto económico de COVID-19.
La línea directa se pondrá en funcionamiento este jueves 7 de mayo y se puede contactar de lunes a viernes de 8 a.m. a 5 p.m. a 423.206.2565. Después de hora regulares, debe dejar mensaje y se le regresará la llamadas el siguiente día hábil.

Tennessee American Water Recommends Large Building Operators and Schools to Flush Pipes to Maintain Water Quality

Chattanooga, TN, Apr. 30, 2020 – Tennessee American Water remains committed to keeping our customers informed as we continue to deliver, clean, safe and reliable water services to you during the COVID-19 public health emergency.
Extended periods of inactivity can cause lead leaching or legionella growth and that taking proper steps can help minimize potential exposure to both these contaminants. As buildings reopen, businesses, school districts and property management teams will begin the process of restarting building systems that have been dormant for a significant amount of time. These reopening procedures will help in making sure water systems and equipment are in working order.

Chattanooga, TN, 30 de abril de 2020 - Tennessee American Water sigue comprometido a mantener informados a sus clientes mientras continúa brindándole servicios de agua limpio, seguro y confiable durante la emergencia de salud pública de COVID-19.

What: As close contact/personal appearance businesses in our community begin to open, the City of Chattanooga is offering a 1-hour webinar to talk through the guidelines set forth by the State of TN and best practices suggested by the CDC and other industry leaders. The webinar will be hosted by a local representative and there will be time for participant Q&A. This opportunity is open to anyone within the Chattanooga area so feel free to share. Additionally, this webinar will be recorded and available after the live version is completed.
